For too long, Transylvania County has been promised action—on schools, infrastructure, and growth.
And for too long, those promises have been delayed.
Our schools are aging.
Our infrastructure is strained.
Working families are being priced out of the community they love.
We don’t have a time problem.
We have a leadership problem.
I’m Bryan O’Neill, and I’m running for County Commissioner to change that.
Some of the challenges we face have been known for 10, even 20 years—outdated school facilities, an inadequate courthouse, and a community college that has outgrown its space.
Others are happening right now:

Workforce housing is out of reach for teachers, first responders, and young families

Good-paying jobs are limited beyond tourism

Growth is outpacing infrastructure

Rising property taxes are pushing people out of their homes
These aren’t partisan issues.
They’re real problems affecting real people—and they demand real leadership.
It’s time for a new approach.
We have leaders who’ve had decades to act.
If they were going to solve these problems, they would have done it by now.
This election is an opportunity to bring fresh thinking, practical solutions, and accountability back to county government.
Here’s what I will fight for:

This isn’t about Democrat or Republican.
It’s about leadership.
Transylvania County deserves leaders who will plan ahead, act decisively, and put people first.
The time for waiting is over.
The time for action is now.
